Of the nine CSH method of assessment categories, 'energy and CO2 emissions' is by far the most significant. Klober’s new CPD presentation 'The Code for Sustainable Homes and airtightness in roofs' which is now available online examines how to 'build tight and ventilate right' within the realms of practical pitched roofing construction. It evaluates the use of air barriers, vapour control layers (AVCLs), vapour permeable roofing underlays and sealing products such as tapes, sealants & collars.
The online presentation was approved by the Construction CPD Certification Service and enables browsers to view it on demand. Validation is by means of an interactive exam which uses a bank of randomly changing questions.
