New Optimal offers Ultimate in wood protection

Jotun Paints has improved the formulation of its DemiDekk Optimal woodstain to produce Demidekk Ultimate™, an advanced exterior opaque woodstain with an outstanding maintenance cycle of up to 12 years.

Using the most up to date raw materials technology available, the new formulation is the result of a two year laboratory trial to produce the most technically advanced exterior wood stain in its class.

DemiDekk Ultimate™ is highly water resistant with improved dirt retention and is particularly effective against moulds. A higher film thickness can be achieved resulting in longer lasting performance. What’s more, advanced waterborne Ultimate™ has an exceptionally low VOC rating , the lowest of any stain available which means its impact on the environment is minimal, both immediate and over the long term.

Touch dry in two hours and recoatable in just eight, Ultimate™ can be brush, roller or spray applied on new woodwork; pressure impregnated timber and previously painted woodwork.

A wide and versatile colour palette of both traditional and contemporary hues offers specifiers and professional users the opportunity to choose from a broad palette ranging from subtle tones to bright and bold colours.
