ATG Access in Final 5 for Award

ATG Access, manufacturer of high security and counter-terrorist bollard systems was announced as one of five finalists who competed in the Northern Final of the Bank of Scotland Corporate Entrepreneur Challenge for a £5million interest free funding package.

The five finalists were competing for the inaugural Bank of Scotland Corporate Entrepreneur Challenge. The Challenge was designed to encourage entrepreneurial activity and the number and quality of applications received was reported as exceptional.

ATG Access presented their business plan to the judging panel and made the case for why they should have received the £5m prize.

Joining senior Bank of Scotland Corporate figures on the judging panel were representatives from Deloitte, and two entrepreneurs who have built up their own businesses with stunning success: David Jackson, Chairman and Chief Executive of Redhall Group and Brian Kennedy, owner of several businesses, including Sale Sharks Rugby Union Club.

The Northern final took place on Thursday, November 15th, at Urbis, Manchester.
