Fakro topSafe wins Home Building and Renovating Product Excellence Award

FAKRO's topSafe® roof window hinge and lock reinforcement system has won the 2011 Home Building & Renovating magazine 'Product Excellence Award' for 'Building Components'. TopSafe provides the highest standard of security currently available in a standard roof window, details of which were highlighted at the NEC National Homebuilding & Renovating Show. As a means of burglary deterrence, topSafe is now routinely used by FAKRO, and recent photographic evidence showed that, despite evident use of a crowbar, an attempted break-in via 3 FTP-V centre pivot windows was successfully thwarted.
