Metstrut secured a major contract to supply cable ladder and metal framing systems for the Heron Quay 2 office block, Canary Wharf, London.
Metstrut were awarded the contract because of the higher loading capacities of its cable ladder system and ability to guarantee fast manufacture and delivery to meet the stringent programme.
The robust nature of the Metstrut cable ladder allowed substitution of 100mm deep system in lieu of the 125mm deep system being contemplated which provided a more cost effective solution for the contractor, Balfour Kilpatrick.
